Alternative voices on Gaza tonight

An open meeting today at the Jewish Community Center in Squirrel Hill will present views that oppose the war in Gaza from within Israel and the Pittsburgh Jewish community in a pro-Israeli context.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. in Levinson Hall and will include live phone conferencing from Gaza and the Israeli town of Sderot.

lated to participate are Eric Yellin, a well-known Israeli blogger; Dr. Izzeldin Abuleish, an obstetrician/gynecologist and peace activist from Gaza; and Diane Balser, director of Brit Tzedek v'Shalom, a national pro-Israel, pro-peace group that is pushing for an immediate cease fire.
