The Lauderdale West Club House in Plantation
The chapter of Brit Tzedek v'Shalom-Southern Florida will be receiving a visit from Brit Tzedek board member, Aaron Ahuvia. Dr. Ahuvia is a National Board Member of Brit Tzedek v'Shalom, Jewish Alliance for Justice and Peace, and is founding co-chair of its Ann Arbor Chapter.
Dr. Ahuvia will be presenting, "The Psychology of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict." Dr. Ahuvia will talk about how a well-founded lack of trust on both sides has contributed to the continuation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This talk shows how psychological factors influence the biases in the way each side looks at the other, and suggests practical ways of getting past these obstacles to achieve a lasting peace.
