Combatants for Peace Tour

Brit Tzedek's Combatants for Peace Tour will be coming to Atlanta on the evening of Monday, January 8, 2007. The two speakers, Elik Elhanan and Sulaiman Al Hamri, will be giving a talk at Congregation Beit Haverim/Central Congregational Church, located at 2676 Clairmont Road. More details to follow. Brit Tzedek Atlanta Chapter Discussion
We will be hosting a discussion at the home of Rich Breitkopf on Wednesday, October 18 at 7:30 PM. The subject of the discussion will be: "Lebanon: Where Do We Go from Here?" Our special guest speaker will be Roxane Peyser, one of our Atlanta Brit Tzedek members who trapped in Beirut when the war broke out in July. Brit Tzedek Atlanta Chapter Meeting
The Atlanta chapter of Brit Tzedek v'Shalom met for a group discussion and to listen to a presentation by Ted Peyser, a local member who spoke about his journey from Orthodoxy/right wing Israeli political views to a more inclusive, pragmatic, and humanistic theology as well as his wife's recent adventures in Lebanon. After his talk we continued the discussion, membership appeals were made, and the cease-fire fact sheet was distributed.

Beyond Gaza: The Role of the US and American Jews with Brit Tzedek President and former Member of Knesset Marcia Freedman. Please join us for an update on developments since the Gaza Withdrawal and analysis of the critical role the US and the American Jewish community can play in peace-making.
